Privacy Policy
At HUSH TREAD, we respect your privacy. This policy explains the current HUSH TREAD website, its built-in analytics and optional sound meter, and information you send us directly. Purchases on other websites are covered by those retailers' policies.
1. Information You Send Us
If you email us, we receive your email address, your name if provided, and the contents of your message. We use this information to answer questions, handle support requests, and meet legal and security obligations.
2. Website Hosting and Analytics
Framer hosts this website and delivers its images, fonts, audio files, and code. To load these resources, your browser sends technical connection information, including an IP address and browser information, to the hosting service.
Framer's built-in analytics is active. We use its reports to understand visits, popular pages, traffic sources, and site performance. Framer states that these analytics use no cookies or persistent identifiers, and calculate daily visitor counts by hashing the IP address and browser user agent with a daily rotating secret. Read Framer's analytics and cookie explanation for details.
3. Cookies and Tracking
Google Analytics 4 is an optional analytics provider on this website. Its script loads only after you allow optional analytics. It uses first-party cookies and sends Google information about page visits, clicks to external websites, and technical browser/device information to help us understand site usage. Advertising personalization and Google Signals are off. Read Google’s Privacy Policy for information about Google’s processing. Microsoft Clarity is also optional and loads only after you allow analytics. It collects browser/device information and page interactions, such as clicks and scrolling, to create heatmaps and session replays that help us improve the website. Clarity uses cookies after consent. We use Strict masking for page content and keep advertising consent denied. Clarity does not record microphone audio. Read the Microsoft Privacy Statement for information about Microsoft’s processing. We do not use advertising pixels or chat trackers. Framer’s cookieless analytics remains active as described above.
We save your privacy choices on your device for up to 180 days using local storage. This record contains your optional analytics and marketing choices and the time you saved them; we do not upload the preference record. Optional storage is off by default. Choose Reject optional, Accept all, or Manage preferences, and reopen Cookie settings at the bottom left of any page to change or withdraw your choice. If browser storage is unavailable, the choice applies to the current visit and may be requested again on return.
Reject optional keeps Google Analytics and Microsoft Clarity off. You can withdraw analytics permission in Cookie settings; the page reloads to stop optional collection and removes these providers’ first-party analytics cookies from this site. Previously collected data is not erased by changing this browser setting. We ask for a fresh privacy choice when introducing a new optional analytics provider. No marketing provider is connected, and a Global Privacy Control signal keeps marketing permission off. These choices do not stop Framer’s cookieless analytics.
You can manage site permissions and cookies through your browser. Those settings do not necessarily stop cookie-free analytics.
4. Optional Microphone Access
The Sound Lab meter requests microphone access only after you choose Measure my street and your browser grants permission. Audio is measured locally in your browser. The website does not record or upload microphone audio.
You can decline permission and still use the site. Choose Stop listening or leave the page to stop the meter. You can also revoke microphone permission in your browser's site settings.
5. Service Providers and External Websites
We do not sell personal information. We may share information with service providers that help run this website or respond to support requests, only when needed for that work.
Links to Amazon, Twelverays, and other external websites take you to services with their own privacy policies. HUSH TREAD's website does not process your retailer checkout or payment details.
6. Your Choices and Privacy Requests
You can ask us what personal information we hold, request corrections or deletion where allowed by law, or ask us to stop optional communications. Send privacy questions or requests to support@hushtread.com.
7. Data Security
We use reasonable safeguards to protect personal information. No online system can guarantee complete security.
