(( WHY RUBBER ))
Soft to sound. Tough to weather.
Thick rubber swallows vibration before it becomes noise, grips concrete instead of clattering across it, and lives outside all year without complaint.
(( OUR STORY ))
One of us dragged a trash can down a long concrete driveway before sunrise, and every window on the street heard it. The fix we wanted was simple. Not a new trash can. Not a rule about pickup times. Just a softer place where the wheel meets the road.
So we made one. Hush Tread covers are thick rubber sleeves that stretch over the wheels your trash can already has, and they give the whole street its morning back.

(( WHY RUBBER ))
Thick rubber swallows vibration before it becomes noise, grips concrete instead of clattering across it, and lives outside all year without complaint.

(( WHY WHEELS FIRST ))
Nearly all the noise a trash can makes comes from hard wheels on hard ground. Fix the contact point and the rest of the rattle goes with it.
(( The quietest thing we ever made is a Tuesday morning. ))
